What kind of information does Linen Catalysts collect and when is it collected?

You can visit most of our web pages without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. We may track the Internet domain address from which people visit us and analyze this data for trends and statistics; we use that information to improve our website and to learn more about what our customers are looking for. Individual users will remain anonymous unless you voluntarily tell us who you are.

There may be times, such as when you subscribe to a service or participate in a survey, when we ask you to provide certain information about yourself. This may include your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, birth date, gender, personal interests, etc. Whether or not to provide such information is your own personal choice. But if you choose not to provide information we request, you may be unable to access certain services, offers, or content on our website. We may contact a visitor who has responded to a survey for more information, but only if that visitor has told us that they don't mind being contacted.

If you choose to make a purchase on our website, we collect the following information in order to process your order efficiently: name, billing address, shipping address, e-mail address, phone number, and credit card number. This information is used solely by Linen Catalysts and is stored in a secure environment. Under certain circumstances we do also collect the user's IP address, but only when we suspect that credit card fraud may have occurred.

How does Linen Catalysts use my information?

At Linen Catalysts, we collect personal information only for the purposes of fulfilling orders, providing a high level of customer service, gaining knowledge internally regarding what our customers want and mailing circulars and special offers from Linen Catalysts. We do not give or sell personal information to any other party.

Does Linen Catalysts share my information with third parties?

We take seriously our responsibility to protect the personal information our customers supply to us, so we do not sell, rent, or loan any personal identifiable information regarding our customers to any third party.

How do I remove my information from email, phone, and postal mailing lists?

We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. If you prefer not to receive information from us about our products and services via email or postal mail, you may unsubscribe at any time by responding to one of our email messages with “unsubscribe” in the subject line.

Please note, however, that unsubscribe requests may take up to two (2) weeks to be effective. In addition, if you ask us to remove your name and address from our email or postal mailing list, we maintain your name in a "do not mail" file for a period of time to ensure that we honor your request and can refer to the timeframe in which you directed this action.

What are cookies? How and why does Linen Catalysts use cookies on its site?

We use cookies to provide our customers with streamlined ordering and other useful features. Cookies are pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Cookies make web surfing easier for you by saving your customer identification information while you're at our site. The use of cookies has become an industry standard used by most major websites. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that. Please continue to review our privacy policy from time to time so that you are aware of our current policy with respect to cookies.

How do I consent to this policy?

By using our website, you agree to accept the Linen Catalysts privacy policy. Make sure you read this policy carefully, because if you do choose to use our website, you automatically agree to this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our website.

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change our privacy policy, but if we do, you can be sure we will publicize those changes on our website. We want our customers to be very clear on our processes for collecting and protecting their personal information.

Security

Among our top priorities is keeping your personal information secure. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which provides the highest level of security currently available for secure transactions, to encrypt all of your personal information before it is transmitted to us. Encrypted information cannot be read or recorded as it travels over the Internet. You can tell you are sending information securely by the unbroken key icon or closed lock icon that should appear at the bottom of your internet browser's window (depending on what browser you use). These icons will appear when you are placing an order on our website. In addition, you will see our site address change slightly, from http: to https: indicating a secure server connection is being used.

Additionally, access to your personal information is provided only to our employees and agents who have a need to know such information for the purpose of fulfilling your order and offering our high level of customer service. The computers that store your personal information are located in a separate facility which employs the latest in firewall and security technology.

Even though we use these sophisticated encryption and authentication tools to protect the security of your personal information, unfortunately no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our website, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we do our very best to protect its security on our systems.

We take seriously our responsibility to protect the personal information our customers supply to us.
